“I finish a meeting, open Slack, and the work block is gone before I return.”

Remote workers often lose planned work time between meetings, messages, browser tabs, and device changes.

A focus app for remote work on Windows

Prepare the work period after a meeting before you leave the call. Create a Work mode with the chats, websites, and applications you will not need for the next task, then start it before the meeting ends. REACH terminates selected Windows processes, blocks full domains in Chrome, and can sync mode state across devices through an account. You can also schedule the mode. The beta is free and has no ads or anti-bypass protection. There is no public download yet.

REACH applies your chosen limits as the meeting ends. Join the waitlist and we will email you when the free beta is available.

REACH is in free public beta. Join the waitlist and we will let you know when you can try it. No card, no ads.

A schedule activates Work mode for the block that follows meetings.

Protect the moment after a meeting

A planned work period can slip during the transition after a meeting. The call ends, a message appears, a tab opens, and the next task starts twenty minutes late.

Start the mode before leaving the meeting or schedule its start time. Keep the tools required for the next task available, and exclude chat, social sites, or apps you will not need.

Why silencing alerts may not be enough

Windows Focus assist reduces notifications, but Slack, Discord, and your browser remain available. You can also cancel a timer without changing access to those tools.

A browser extension can cover websites but not installed clients. Distractions can come from both places, then continue on your phone when the laptop is blocked.

How REACH handles a remote workday

REACH combines Windows processes and Chrome domains in one mode. It checks blocked apps about every 1.5 seconds and terminates them while the session is active.

With an account, lists, modes, and session state sync across devices. The mode can also activate on other devices. Without an account, everything stays on one computer.

When to use another work app

REACH does not provide enterprise monitoring or employee device management. It cannot block Firefox or Edge, protect settings from administrators, or guarantee a website closes when the local bridge is unavailable.

It may suit people working on their own Windows PC who need different limits for each task and want those limits ready when a meeting ends.

What this answer does not cover

  • REACH does not provide employee monitoring or device management.
  • Website blocking works only in Chrome and fails open.
  • There is no public download yet.

Questions on this page

Can REACH block Slack after a meeting?

Yes, as long as you do not need Slack for that work period. Add it to the mode and REACH can terminate its process while the mode is active.

Can I schedule focus hours for remote work?

Yes. REACH includes scheduled hours for its modes.

Can my employer use REACH to monitor me?

REACH does not include employee surveillance or enterprise management. It is a focus tool for the device owner.
